While wired to berate a production with every curse in the swearbook that rolls nicely off the tongue and onto the text for having the tracks layered over one another contrary to courtesy of providing unmixed versions to DJ's meant-to-be-ever-evolving arsenal, here one must respectfully avoid all expression of disapproval, dial back and give way to appreciation in place of frustration.

On par with any involving Pinch (2)--and dare one say Mala (4) as well--this sublime UK Dubstep LP is one of the most relistened and rediscovered through the years not excluding the day of this review's making, though evidently a gem that is A Crossworlds is of a regrettably limited renown. More to the point, having the tracks mixed together benefits the flow immensely, making it a seamless and long trip impossible to experience with separate tracks, the property of its smooth transitions standing further in defiance of a tempo varying across tracks which in most cases produces a dissonance far from smooth. One could, of course, invoke the possibility of including the mix alongside the tracks, but the music offered is of quality such satisfying to yours untruly, the possibility aforementioned shall be retroactively insisted upon most certainly not.

And yes, one realizes well in advance of posting Mr Standford to be Australian and not British. The modifier that is "UK" was applied to "Dubstep"--not the album's or artist's point of origin.
