Tut Tut the poster has placed the record in a sleeve that never happened on ANY Polydor group licenced labels.(bar Genric Polydor, Marmalade Mojo Track Record Ringo Phil Spector Int. )

All Polydor licenced labels releases originally came in white die-cut wavey top sleeves (to save the US label owners money):- Atlantic, Buddah, Chelsea, CTI, Kama Sutra Kudu, MGM, Spring Stax Verve) From mid 1980's Polydor slowly intruduced slate grey and shiny black die-cut sleeves which were also used for Polydor's generic IEP pressing now painted with silver paint rather than that vile mudy brown-red concoction!

Polydor did however comission three special sleeves for their individual series "Maxi Single" (Plain Red with black script) "Action Replay" (black repeated script on white and "Steppin' Out" (silver grey wash with 70's disco platform shoe)

these three are seriously hard to find and have not been reproduced.

But never was a Polydor group single sleeved in a Phonogram Sleeve Phonogram (Philips pressing division) did naturally press all Polydor Group product, but did not market or distribute.
