Made in Gt. Britain.

℗ 1976 EMI Records Ltd.

Comes in a plain black sleeve.
This version miscredits Chris Thomas as the producer of side B. It was actually produced by Dave Goodman. This error was on the first 5000 copies only.
The normal release without the error can be seen here Anarchy In The U.K.

My version is a promo not for resale etc etc. It has the Chris Thomas miscredit. I bought it off Malcolm in Sex or Seditionaries whatever it was then. Is this worth anymore than a non promo?
How common are factory samples and normal versions with the Chris Thomas miscredit? I'm seeing these appear often on eBay a lot recently? Are these possible fakes?
I have this version, with the Chris Thomas credited as producer of I Wanna Be Me, but in an EMI sleeve. What does that make it?
mine's also got the Chris Thomas miscredit but came in the normal EMI sleeve. I remember buying it at a stall in Kensington Market, west London, mustve been Nov or Dec '76. Seems clear that some had the black sleeve and some had EMI.
Rollers from Abdun
Me too - bought in Oxford St, London (HMV?) when it sneaked into the top 40/50.
Brian Southall's (EMI executive at the time) ”Sex Pistols – 90 Days At EMI” states it was 2,000 copies in black cover.
isn't it 3,000 copies ?
