Every song plays amazing.... other than Slum Lord for some reason. I've had music made up of bass play fine on other records but they seemed to not really give a shit about mastering it. Either way every song plays well, I just wish they went the extra mile and made it a 4LP for the missing tracks

Randomly purchased this couple years ago - just ordered the Laced Hotline: Miami 1 albums as well. Hotline 2 album is different and very interesting.
Moswyn
I understand this game has the superior OST, but these prices are ridiculous! Even rarer pressings don't go for this much! Looking at the one and only pressing of Gorillaz's, Demon Days album.
Alsantrius
Nice dude, enjoy the bass of this one, really meaty. I still want an original some day though.
Nalmetus
I did. I got it straight from VMP. It was a glorious day.
Llanonte
MrPurpleNinja did you end up getting the VMP repress of Demon Days? I got it, its pretty sick.
Kabandis
did you end up getting the VMP repress of Demon Days?
Mr_TrOlOlO
For those of you wanting this, they have just posted some copies on the iam8bit's store (they found a box in the warehouse!). Original price, so grab them while you can!
Berkohi
I was able to get one of these. It just arrived today!
Fountain_tenderness
They have now sold out of the spare copies; that was fast!
porosh
I can't believe this is going for such silly money. I can think of many rare records much older that go for nearly the same price. And this thing came out in May of 2015.....
Reemiel
Leave it to the gamers dude. Every time a gaming soundtrack gets pressed to vinyl you can bet discogs gets just a little bit more ignorant. I mean I enjoy video games too, but I swear, it seems like the only reason the hardcore ones listen to music is because it was in a game.
DireRaven
the ultra-limited colour vinyl collectors shit isn't about sharing good music. It appeals to hype addicts and opportunistic profiteerers. the people who paid $150 for this are gullible collectors... maybe not even music lovers. definitely not DJs. they will hang the record on their wall, or hide it away in a triple vacuum-sealed bag... I wonder how many people who bought this even own a turntable. the original price was greedy to begin with... $60 direct from Iambit, plus $30 shipping to EU. now the resell price is $260... seriously, not even the rarest 40 year old disco/soul/funk is worth that much
Bodwyn
this is my favourite game ever. NEED THIS!
Kulasius
this is one of the best video games I ve ever played and soundtracks are beyond amazing. Best soundtracks ever!!!
Monam
Amazing game, amazing soundtrack. The pressing sounds nice and the colours look nice and vibrant.
Nidor
This is the best video game soundtrack I've ever heard. What makes it so awesome, is that it can stand on it's own. I've played a few songs for some "non gamers" and they loved it too. The packaging and the artwork are amazing, the vinyl colors complement it very well. The pressing is super high quality and it has a nice full sound. *An insert with further info on each song would've been nice, but other than that it's perfect!
Rolorel
The PSN version is now sold out as well.
Gna
My first Vinyl(s). Cannot wait to hit this up.
Rishason
Welcome to the club, but don't say "vinyls" the big kids will beat you up.

Second pressing sold out, a third one will also be made.Site FAQ was updated: Are there any differences between the first and second pressing?NO! Well, not really. This is the same beautiful set you've seen in the photos. The only difference is a very small letter "B" placed in the corner on the back of the album jacket. It's hardly noticeable, but helps us distinguish the two pressings. So I guess two new entries will have to be made eventually :PUPDATE: 3rd preorder is up, 2nd ships late April
ARE
True, and there's an option for PSN code instead of Steam this time
Jerdodov
It should be noted that the third press will be the last one according to Iam8bit.
uspeh
Woohaa 1st press! ;)
Vozilkree
lmao literally ordered last weekcan't believe these prices
Fenritaur
I hope the guys selling it right now are joking
Adoraris
http://store.iam8bit.com/collections/hotline-miami/products/hlm2there is going to be a repress, so yup.
Teonyo
Does anyone know where I can buy this for $250?
Gom
250 hahahahaha original price is 60 dollars and it's still available
Qudanilyr
In my opinion there will be little difference between pressings on such limited runs. This is my take on things, I'm open to correction. First pressings are traditionally priced higher as the master used would be freshly cut. When pressing large amounts of vinyl the master gets worn down, after a certain point the vinyl quality suffers. Manufacturers who ignored this and continued pressing with worn masters produced some bad quality vinyl. This is why old UK pressings are regarded as quite good, the smaller market equaled smaller runs from the master which in turn resulted in good quality vinyl. Regarding the Hotline Miami 2 soundtrack, I'd imaging the same master will be used for all three pressings. But if the runs are all quite low in number the difference in quality between pressings should be minimal. If each run is several thousand units then they'd need a new master or the quality would indeed suffer greatly. As an aside, vinyl manufacturing technology has improved since the 60s/70s so the deterioration nowadays may not be as great as it was back then. neptune30  afroninjaen That's irrelevant considering there is absolutely no difference from the second press. The only thing is that the people that ordered before 1/21 got it alongside the release of the game, while others have to wait until late March. This isn't even listed on their site as limited, it's just a collector's edition. They can keep making them until they stop selling. You shouldn't call someone a moron who is obviously more intelligent than you. How do you know if it's going to be different from the first press? You can't just say that without proof. One of the biggest difference in prices for LP's is the version, a.k.a. which press. That means that first press is a whole lot more worth than second press. This is not about being intelligent, but about knowing the market. You don't even have a single order on discogs. Get your facts straight before shitposting.
Yozshujind
I think its for those who need to have it now.
